Our proprietary algorithm combines motion sensing and weight detection to determine whether a sunbed is occupied by a person or just reserved by a towel. When a guest sits down, the device registers real occupancy. When only a towel is present, the system flags the sunbed as available after a configurable timeout. All data flows in real-time through a self-healing WiFi mesh network to the management dashboard.
